You can access the information by scanning with your phone the QR codes printed on the booths at each designated point or access them on the CEAEC website. Enjoy the tour!
Welcome to the Center for the Higher Studies of Conscientiology – CEAEC. CEAEC is a non-religious, non-partisan, and non-profit scientific organization. It was established on the 15th of July 1995 by conscientiology volunteers. Today it is managed by the international association of the Center for the Higher Studies of Conscientiology.
The first of dozens of conscientiological institutions that now exist in Foz do Iguaçu, CEAEC aims to be a place of research, education, culture and parapsychic practices, gathering interdisciplinary researchers from all around Brazil and from other nations.
Here, in an area of 243,000 square meters, you will find different environments prepared for debate and the exchanging of ideas. For example, the Tertularium, with it’s daily activities broadcasted online for free. At the Holotheca and at the Holocycle you will find a vast archive of books, dictionaries and collections from different cultures and countries.
For those interested in investing in their self-knowledge, CEAEC offers 17 self-research laboratories and lodging for researchers, plus two attractions that catalyse continuous reflection: the Alley of Humanity’s Geniuses and the Megalith, a monument dedicated to world peace.
All of this is immersed in idyllic natural settings, surrounded by the flora and fauna typical of the region, making CEAEC a true bioenergetic resort, a place optimized for the lucid application of bioenergies, aiming at consciential development.
Conscientiology is a science applied to the study of consciousness, that is, ourselves, in our most diverse facets. The consciousness is you, me, is every intelligent being capable of manifesting in this universe – and even beyond it.
Conscientiology’s approach differs from conventional science and is founded on its own principles.
In the first place, this new science admits consciousness’ immmortality and the existence of numerous past lives, that is, it considers that all of us already had previous experiences, in other bodies, before the current human life. Thus, we are today the result of those experiences, in addition to the influences of genetics from the new human body and the environment we live in.
Conscientiology also proposes the hypothesis that we have three other bodies or vehicles of manifestation, beyond the physical body, which enable us to interact, in a lucid way or not, with more subtle existential dimensions and energies.
Thus, the study of parapsychism, or human perceptions beyond the five senses, is one of the pillars of conscientiology. Parapsychic manifestations are understood as being inherent to the consciousness, without any mystical or religious aspects.
The activities of conscientiology, in brazil and abroad, are developed by means of organizations that offer courses, lectures, workshops and publications for the development and research of consciousness.
The guiding principle of this science and its associated institutions is the principle of disbelief, which indicates direct, objective and self-verifiable personal experience as the primary determinant in its findings.
Do not believe in anything, not even in what conscientiology researchers say. Experiment. Have your own personal experiences. This is the motto of this science.
Cognopolis in Foz, or the City of Knowledge, is a place of learning and discovery. Like an university open to volunteering, here unique research and education activities are carried out, developed by an interdisciplinary community of teachers, researchers and writers from diverse fields.
The project started in nineteen ninety-five, when conscientiology volunteers conceived a specialized research center to be installed just to the east of foz do iguaçu. Thus the embryo of the future permanent community of consciousness researchers appeared: CEAEC – Center for the Higher Studies of Conscientiology.
Previously known as the tamanduazinho river region, this area of more than one million square meters is officially the suburb of cognopolis and it receives visitors from many parts of the planet who to experience it, visit for a short time, or live here permanently.
The biggest endeavour planned for cognopolis is the building of the holotheca cultural megacenter, which will be a unique international space for cultural and scientific exhibitions, with the architectural project signed by renowned brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer.
Besides the pioneering ceaec, here are twenty-two other conscientiological organizations, that are organized over several campuses and who unite groups dedicated to the study and development of different conscientiology specialties. Also, in Cognopolis are nine residential condominiums that contain a total of one hundred and seventy residences.
The Interludium Iguassu convention hotel, with one hundred apartments and suites, on an area of twenty-two thousand square meters, offers a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy, besides offering a comprehensive infrastructure for events and a permanent display of pictures of objects from the Holotheca’s collections .
Waldo Vieira was born on April 12 in 1932, in the rural town of Monte Carmelo, in Minas Gerais. At twelve, he moved to Uberaba, and remained there for a little more than two decades.
He concluded elementary school and completed two university degrees: Dentistry and Medicine. In 1966, he moved to Rio de Janeiro. That same year, he traveled to Japan, where he undertook a postgraduate degree. In 2000, he moved his residence to Foz do Iguaçu, where he lived there for 15 years.
Waldo Vieira’s past is marked by a strong parapsychic aptitude since early childhood and by an irreducible dedication to investigate parapsychism, in a detailed and exhaustive manner. Research developed over his life resulted in the corpus of conscientiology, an experimental science proposed by him at the beginning of the 90s.
His parapsychic experiences started to be perceived by others when he was only three. Literate at four, and by nine he was already collecting books, comic books, stamps, cards and objects. It is worth noting, that among these collections, his library was the embryo for the current Holotheca.
Waldo lived at the College of the Mineiro Triangle in Uberaba from the age of 12, where he worked to finance his studies and lodging. Then, later, with the founding of the colleges, he became a dentist and doctor.
At 14, he already had experienced more than 200 phenomena, lucid projections among them. Mediumship activities, started at 15 at the Casa do Cinza Spiritist Center, as did his participation in the leadership of a Christian Spiritist youth group. These actions created a formal relationship between Waldo Vieira and Spiritism, where he later encountered Chico Xavier who he worked with in partnership for one decade, starting in 1955. Waldo took Chico Xavier from the town of Pedro Leopoldo to Uberaba, started to urbanize the neighborhood, built the park of the americas, built a house where he and Chico lived for 7 years, inaugurated the Spiritist Center of Christian Spiritism and implemented a free medical clinic in which he attended around one hundred people a day.
Of the twenty-six spiritist works published by Waldo, 18 were psychographed with Chico Xavier. They also jointly developed countless campaigns to receive donations and distribute aid and made several national and international trips to help spread Spiritism.
After his disconnection from Spiritism, in 1966, Waldo started to live in Rio de Janeiro. He specialized in plastic surgery in Japan and intensified his professional career in Medicine. In Rio he dedicated himself to the organization of research findings that he had amassed, amplified his research sources and systematized the knowledge he had accumulated about parapsychic processes since childhood.
In 1981, in order to introduce the new science Pojectiology, Waldo published the book: Projections of the Consciousness: A Diary of Out-of-Body Experiences. In the same year, he opened the doors of his own house to researchers interested in the subject. The organized meeting of this group of researchers resulted in the implementation of the Center of Continuous Consciousness.
In 1986, he published the first treatise, Projectiology: A Panorama of experiences of the Consciousness Outside the Human Body. In 1994, he launched his second treatise, 700 Experiments of Conscientiology. Together the two works form the theoretical foundations and technical-methodological procedures which present Conscientiology as an experimental science.
In 1988, Waldo established the current International Institute of Projectiology and Conscientiology – IIPC, and institutionalized the science, systematizing the theoretical-practical teaching of the consciential paradigm.
In January of 2000, Waldo moved his residence to the CEAEC campus, where he started his most ambitious project, the Encyclopedia of Conscientiology.
In parallel with the production of the Encyclopedia, he published five more scientific treatises: Homo Sapiens Reurbanisatus, Homo Sapiens Pacificus, the Dictionary of Conscientiology Arguments, the Dictionary of Conscientiology Neologisms, and the Lexicon of Orthopensatas. Beyond these reference works, considered conscientiology classics, Waldo wrote sixteen other conscientiological books.
He was included in publications such as: Who is Who in the twenty first century and in the Dictionary of International Biography organized by the English Institution of the International Biographical Centre.
From november of 2002 to june of 2013, Waldo presented tertulias in the afternoon and, from may of 2012 to june of 2015, he carried out matinal tertulias, both of which were free and open to the public.
In April of 2012, Waldo proposed the Mentalsomatic Circle, taking part in one hundred and sixty editions of the weekly event which gathers people for a debate at the tertuliarium on Saturday mornings, and includes authors, writers and others interested in the interchange of ideas, research, and in discussions about themes related to writing.
As an independent researcher, Waldo defended responsible, ethical and free thought, as expressed through exhaustive, broad, complex and cosmovisiological research committed to the evolution of consciousnesses. He donated the intellectual assets and materials (or cultural wealth) he accumulated over his entire life to the institutions he created for this purpose.
He passed away on 2 july 2015, leaving the vast legacy of a consistent and inspiring set of ideas represented by materially and energetically constructed monuments, buildings and spaces consolidated in the creation of the Cognopolis neighborhood in Foz do Iiguaçu but above all, materialized by means of works registered in writing still to be fully explored. Besides that, Waldo made his life an example of coherence, clearly exhibiting the abnegation with which he faced his existential purpose. He was creative, curious, detail and exhaustive-oriented, and tireless, and this resulted in unceasing productivity. He showed, day to day, how it is possible to live with lucidity and discernment, greeting everyone with endless patience, pacification and fraternity, demonstrating in practice the concept of extremely-rare friendship.
Located in the trinational region of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina and known as being a city of all peoples, Foz do Iguaçu is a mosaic of languages and accents. In the streets the sounds of Guarani, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic reflect the expression of a cosmopolitan town.
Having a dynamic of intense interrelations, Foz do Iguaçu is located in a border region where Paraguayans assimilate nuances of Portuguese; some Argentinians choose to live on the Brazilian side and some Brazilians choose to work in Paraguay.
The Friendship Bridge, uniting Ciudad del Este with Foz do Iguaçu, seals the union between Brazilians and Paraguayans. Just like the Tancredo Neves Bridge, known as the fraternity bridge, unites Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguaçu. Thus, it represents the bond between Brazilians and Argentinians.
Being a multicultural environment with geopolitical strength, Foz is an ideal laboratory to be a cell of the future world state, whose foundation is a policy of cooperation, integration, and universalistic integration among nations. Enveloped by a sea of green, which represents 69% of its territory, the city is a large natural reserve. Surrounded by the Paraná and Iguaçu rivers, it exhibits one of the last repositories of the atlantic forest in Paraná and Brazil: the Iguaçu National Park, an area of 175 thousand hectares on the border with Argentina, where the exuberant Iguaçu Falls, with its 275 waterfalls, are found.
The city’s abundant nature makes it a bioenergetic resort driven by its potent potent hydro, geo and phyto energy.
The tertuliarium is the first debatodrome on the planet, a unique architectural work, designed and built at CEAEC through the joint effort of conscientiology volunteers, specially for the realization and broadcast of conscientiological tertulias, or the long course course, daily from twelve thirty to two fifteen. Its objective is the study and democratic deepening of the leading edge relative truths presented in the verbetes of the encyclopedia of conscientiology. This is achieved through open debate and harmonious, cosmoethical, interassistantial group interaction.
Beyond conscientiological tertulias, this location also currently hosts the activities of the mentalsomatic circle, on saturdays, from nine until ten forty-five. Here authors to published books gather, with other researchers and the general public to debate themes, questions and challenges of the evolutionary kind, mainly those that prioritize self-
research and conscientiological writing.
And on sundays, also from 9 until ten forty-five, the matinal tertulia has the objective of exposing conscientiology themes of veteran researchers, capable of promoting the participation of the public present, predisposing personal well-being and self-motivation in the research of conscientiology specialties.
All the activities here are free, without pre-requisites and open to the public.
The foundation stone of this project was laid on april 22 two thousand and seven, with the signature of architect and conscientiologist Everton Santos. It has a constructed area of eight hundred and twenty-three square meters, it was constructed in only eleven months and inaugurated on 30 november two thousand and eight.
The materialization of this megaenterprise was possible through the financial contributions of diverse conscientiocentric institutions and their volunteers, with special emphasis given here to AIEC, ARACE and CEAEC.
The tertuliarium was born through the natural amplification of leading edge clarification realized by conscientiological tertulias, representing a necessary and important structural update with the aim of offering an optimized and comfortable environment for tertulians, consolidation of
the intraphysical team (teamin) of volunteers and expansion of the extraphysical team (teamex) of helpers.
Since its inauguration, the tertuliarium has became the greatest point of convergence between conscientiology volunteers and new visitors and researchers in Cognopolis, having already received diverse personalities from the fields of science, arts and politics.
Since the 21st of december two thousand thirteen, the tertuliarium also hosts encyclossapiens, a conscientiocentric institution dedicated to study, teaching and production of verbetes to the encyclopedia of conscientiology. Together with CEAEC it is also responsible for the joint managing of conscientiological tertulias.
At the entrance hall, on the left you find the most recent publications of books from conscientiology authors and, on the panel in front of the enterance, publications of issues highlighting magazines in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil and the world. The word calm above the central panel, serves as an orientation to both intraphysical consciousnesses – conscins – eager for information and many times anxious to quickly access and experience the leading edge ideas of conscientiology; and to the extraphysical consciousnesses – consciexes – interested in widening their knowledge principally regarding the practical experience of living in this dimension, which will be their next challenge when they are reborn.
On the right there is the access ramp to the auditorium and now we invite you to walk up it until reaching the main entrance hall, where, on the right, you will find a view out over part of Cognopolis.
You have now arrived at the auditorium of the tertuliarium. Take the first few moments of the experience to attentively observe this peculiar environment, beginning with the large dome, the acoustics, the arrangement of the chairs and the environment in general, all appropriate for debates. Don’t forget to notice your interaction with the bioenergies that manifest here.
The auditorium has the capacity to hold three hundred and forty-six people, with eight places reserved for wheelchairs. The seats are upholstered and have writing tables for laptops and notebooks. The audience is spread across seven levels.
The metal dome is eleven meters high and twenty meters in diameter. It is thirteen meters from the central point to the floor, equivalent to a building of more than four floors.
In the center, the teacher’s desk is on a central and rotating metal platform, activated by remote control.
On the right side, there is the audio and video room, for the recording of events
and the transmission of tertulias via the internet, with six cameras, along with the coordination and monitoring room. All rooms are air-conditioned.
Continuing on the left side, eleven plaques are distributed on the walls that highlight relevant and priority content for conscientiology. They have the aim of drawing the attention of visitors, who may identify in them some subject of interest related to their current existential program. Special mention is given to the plaque containing the Principle of Disbelief, a fundamental and irreplaceable proposition of conscientiology.
The great differential of the tertuliarium is its qualified interassistantial characteristic, created and fixed through the continuous daily and disciplined work of Dr. Waldo Vieira since its inauguration. This is reflected through an intellectual, balanced, and harmonious environment, which attracts consciousnesses who seek clarification, and which are attended to by more advanced extraphysical consciousnesses, dedicated to the planet’s evolution.
The walk, or alley, of humanity’s geniuses is a row of busts of personalities who made substantial contributions to mankind. These busts are part of the landscape of the campus.
There are currently one hundred and seventy-three busts already, but the goal is to pay homage to four hundred historic personalities.
There are philosophers, writers, politicians, scientists, educators, musicians, navigators, artists, and inventors. Men and women from varied origins and epochs.
The goal of this exposition of busts of genius is to evoke the constructive, humanitarian example of these people from every area of human knowledge, in order to generate further questioning and reflection.
What have i done to make social life healthier, more creative and harmonious? What is my contribution to humanity? Have I left records through published texts with ideas that can promote social well-being? Do I share my inspirations and my best thoughts, sentiments and energies with my peers?
Enjoy this biographical tour and test your knowledge: what do you know about the contributions of these personalities?
Feel free to take pictures with those busts you liked the most. Which people do you admire the most, or the least? Why? What is your relationship with them?
Such a reflexive pathway, named the pathway of logic, will take you on a historic journey through human cognition until you reach the holocycle.
This department is called the Holocycle and is dedicated to the intellectual production of conscientiology, especially the Encyclopedia of Conscientiology.
Conscientiology can be considered, in a way, a theory of consciousness derived from the philosophical ideas of Socrates. For him, wisdom consisted in knowing oneself, becoming aware of one’s own limits. In turn, the essence of the investigative methodology of conscientiology is self-research, a constant exercise of self-knowledge in a theoretical and practical way.
The name holocycle is a combination of two words: “holo” which means set, and “cycle”, a term derived from encyclopedia (enkyklos, in Greek). The Holocycle is a set of encyclopedias and dictionaries intended to assist in the writing of the Encyclopedia of Conscientiology.
This reference work was proposed and organized by Waldo Vieira, beginning in nineteen ninety-eight, while he still lived in Rio de Janeiro.
Since 2000, in Foz do Iguaçu, it has been located here in the Holocycle.
When Waldo Vieira transferred his residence to the CEAEC campus in July of the year 2000, he asked to organize the Holocycle according to the following principle: “facts guide research”.
Based on this principle, three collections were selected for this space: the collection of newspapers, magazines and periodicals, called the newspaper library, which has more than half a million news items classified into five thousand themes, from where facts are extracted. The Lexicon Collection includes dictionaries, vocabularies, glossaries and related works, forms the Lexicotheca, with more than seven thousand items classified into one thousand and six hundred different subjects; and the collection of encyclopedias with more than one volume that can be found on the shelves, make up the Encyclotheca..
Dictionaries and encyclopedias assist in the analysis of facts.
All holocycle research work is based on the Principle of Disbelief which says the following: “Do not believe anything, not even what you are told in the Holocycle. Have your own personal experiences.” Researchers in conscientiology do not use beliefs in their approaches, but personal experimentation.
Due to the complexity of the object of study, that is, the consciousness itself, which includes me, you and all people, an attempt is made to gather in the holocycle all the stock of human knowledge.
The conscientiology library is a collection of thousands of articles, journals, study materials, manuals, treatises, dictionaries and the encyclopedia of conscientiology itself. it is the only library in the holocycle specialized in conscientiology.
It has more than two hundred and seventy different items, without considering duplicated copies and multiple edition of books, plus ninety-eight conscientiological books in portuguese language, by sixty-eight conscientiological authors, twenty conscientiological books published in other languages (spanish, english, german, italian and chinese); nineteen different journal titles; and thirty-nine different conscientiology newspapers. (base year: two thousand and sixteen).
At the end of this twenty-one meter long marble mega-table, it is possible to see and consult fourteen journals specialized in conscientiology, between the bookstops.
At this very spot, for fifteen years, doctor Waldo Vieira would sit to work in the holocycle on his research on human consciousness.
What is your impression of this conscientiological collection? has any theme caught your attention?
The lexicoteca is made up of these two rows of lexicon tables. Themes from dictionaries and related works, such as glossaries, manuals, guides, and vade-mecuns are arranged in alphabetical order. The entire collection is arranged horizontally on the tables, in order to facilitate the visualization and handling of the works, following the visual field technique.
The following dictionaries are featured in the lexicotheca:
First: the holocycle’s largest lexicon, in terms of the dimension or size of the work, is “The Columbia Encyclopedia,” which is thirty-one centimeters tall, twenty-four centimeters wide, and eight and a half centimeters in depth. It has fifty thousand entries or entries (verbets) involving subjects from all over the world. It is classified as a general encyclopedia.
Second: the smallest dictionary in the holocycle, about the size of a fingertip, is the dictionary of proper names by the author Antonio S. Silva, published in 2001. It contains the meaning and origin of three hundred and eighty proper names.
By the way, do you know what your name means? The first step in self-knowledge begins with this simple message.
Third: another curiosity is the dictionary of dreams, which brings suggestions for how to interpret scenes, objects and beings that make up the consciousness’ oneiric universe.
And, finally, the two oldest dictionaries of the holocycle: proverbs, thoughts and reflections, by the Marquis of Maricá, from 1839, and the Nouveau dictionnaire portatif des langues française et portugaise, by F. S. Constancio, from 1856.
In addition to these dictionaries, there are many other peculiar ones, such as: the dictionary of midwives, the dictionaries of phobias, dictionaries on regionalisms with the different ways Brazilians speak according to the state in which they reside (Bahian, Cearê, Porto-Alegrê, among others) and many others.
Idiomatic lexicons rank first place in terms of the largest number of dictionaries. Among the various dictionary languages, the following bi- and trilingual languages stand out: Albanian-Italian, Arabic-Portuguese, Bosnian-English, Spanish-Mayan, Portuguese-English-Mandarin, among others.
You are invited to wander through the lexicographic corridors of the holocycle and observe the cognitive variety of the areas of human manifestation.
Which dictionaries catch your attention? Which one did you like the most? Which one did you feel any kind of aversion to? Your reaction to dictionaries can also be a source of self-knowledge.
The Hemerotheca (newspaper library) is a labyrinth of ideas, an inexhaustible source of facts that, when analyzed together, broaden one’s personal worldview. By associating ideas and confronting facts, one can attain an original idea.
The Hemerotheca is the largest “theca” or collection in this building. In March of 2017, there were 583,967 news articles or clippings available for research, in multiple languages.
The articles from the newspapers are cut out, classified and finally distributed in folders and plastic vats, organized in alphabetical order of themes. This sequence of procedures constitutes the cosmogram technique. The letter “a” has the largest number of folders.
The exercise of this technique has a ludic and highly informative character. Volunteers who specialize in periodicals start to look at newspapers, for example, in a totally different way. They start to have a more technical and curious approach regarding daily social life, and they even report feeling a therapeutic process when channeling their focus to the world outside themselves, becoming less self-centered.
Some intriguing topics: letting go; animal abandonment; botanical comfort; groupkarmic adjustment; Iguassu Falls; stem cells; emotion; innate ability; impact therapy; nanotechnology; paragenetics; parapsychology; reurbanization; syndromes; smile; peace treaties; zoophilia.
Among all of these, the personality theme stands out. In this folder there are more than 160 names of historical and contemporary personalities with articles from periodicals pre-selected for consultation. For example: Abraham Lincoln, Angela Merkel, Alfred Dreyfus, Gorbachev, Sérgio Vieira de Mello, Zilda Arns, among others.
Many of the busts of geniuses displayed in the alley of humanity’s geniuses have folders with selected clippings through which they can be better known and understood. For example: Balzac, Hannah Arendt, Hypatia of Alexandria, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Marie Curie and Plato.
The people who work in the Holocycle are volunteers. They have their personal and professional life and donate part of their available time each week to some intellectual task.
CEAEC is only made up of two hundred volunteers. But, considering the more than two dozen institutions linked to conscientiology in Foz do Iguaçu, the total exceeds 800 people.
As the place of conscientiology’s intellectual production, the holocycle has seventy technical teams, including authors, bibliographers, lexicographers, orismologists, paraphenomenologists, paremiologists and translators. Someof them work inside the Holocycle and others outside it.
The Holocycle’s external teams are those that constitute each institution and organism linked to conscientiology. Each institution specializes in an area of conscientiological knowledge.
An example is the International Council of Neologistics (CINEO), linked to one of the institutions and dedicated to issuing opinions on the creation and consolidation of conscientiological terminology. CINEO is made up of volunteers from the field of linguistics.
As for the Holocycle’s internal teams, two stand out: the team of cosmoanalysts, composed of volunteers who are specialists in the analysis of everyday facts through the news published in periodicals; and the mentalsomatic filing team, who record the bibliographic data of the selected news from the periodicals and the reference works from the Holocycle.
People who perform these intellectual tasks in the Holocycle usually report an improvement of their mental attributes, for example, concentration, clarity and order of thought, detail, while at the same time they feel greater emotional and psychomotor calmness.
The encyclotheca has the following treasures of knowledge:
First: a European-American Illustrated Universal Encyclopedia, published by the Spanish publisher Espasa-Calpe, with 110 volumes. It is better characterized as an encyclopedic dictionary. Despite this controversy, did you know that it is considered one of the most important encyclopedias in the world? It is the black volumes with gold lettering on the two highest shelves of the bookshelf.
Second: Encyclopedia Europea, from the Italian publisher Garzanti, with 17 volumes.
Third: La Grand Encyclopedie, a French encyclopedia from 1886, with 31 volumes, an initiative to replace the famous, and already rare and obsolete encyclopédie.
Fourth, in the English language, the largest and most famous encyclopedia is the Encyclopedia Britannica. In the holocycle, there are the 1950 and 1964 issues, with their 23 volumes, in addition to the indexes.
Fifth: among the Brazilian encyclopedias, there are the following: Grande Enciclopédia Delta-Larousse, Enciclopédia Mirador Internacional and Enciclopédia Barsa, with 15, 20, and 16 volumes, respectively.
In addition to these most famous ones, there are many thematic encyclopedias, such as the Junior Woodchuck’s Library, organized by Walt Disney’s company; and specific encyclopedias on science, art, civilization, family, women, and other subjects, with rich historical and cultural value.
On the shelf next to the workstation 2 sign, the following are worth mentioning:
The Japanese Encyclopedia, with 35 volumes.
The great Portuguese and Brazilian encyclopedia, with 40 volumes, which portrays Portugal and Brazil in their lexicographic, chorographic, historical, artistic, scientific, political, social and sporting aspects.
The Saraiva Encyclopedia of Law, a Brazilian work with 78 volumes.
Have you ever thought about becoming an encyclopedist? Do you think encyclopedia is a thing of the past? If you felt challenged, ask the volunteers for information regarding participation in the Encyclopedia of Conscientiology.
The Holotheca at CEAEC’s Campus is a dynamic center of research, education, and cultural-scientific production and diffusion. An environment designed for research and the exposition of artifacts of knowledge, it gathers cultural assets, classifies and organizes them into collections (thecas) so people can study, research, and investigate, that is, have contact with knowledge and develop it.
The cultural centers cultivate an atmosphere of mutual comprehension and friendship, stimulating intellectuality and sociability. The main differential in relation to other cultural centers is the consideration of parapsychism as a factor of cognitive and socio-affective potentialization.
At the holotheca, open daily to the public for visits and consultations since two thousand and three, the reader finds a vast repertoire of bibliographical sources and museological artifacts. Through a detailed and exhaustive examination of these artifacts of knowledge it is possible to expand personal attributes such as memory, discernment, association of ideas, creativity, intellect and critical sense. The collection dates from nineteen forty-one, the occasion in which doctor Waldo Vieira, nine years old at the time, started to organize more than one thousand two hundred books, in five languages, which comprised his library. In nineteen ninety-six, the contents amassed until then were donated to CEAEC and, in the year two thousand, transferred to the holotheca’s current premises.
The small private library of nineteen forty-one started the public holotheca whose collection, in two thousand and sixteen, surpasses nine hundred thousand pieces, classified into more than three hundred thecas. Among them, the following deserve to be highlighted: the book collection (bibliotheca), the dictionary collection (lexicotheca), the rare works (rarotheca), the newspaper clippings (hemerotheca), the shells (conchotheca), the stamps (philateliotheca), and the comicbooktheca, considered one of the largest collections of comic books in Latin America, containing copies from twenty-two countries in sixteen languages.
The didactic potential of the collections permits diverse educational activities focussed on the dissemination of science and widening of the world view. Such activities consist of approaching cultural-scientific themes of communities broadening the interest in sciences, stimulating the preservation of the cultural and environmental heritage.
The holotheca is divided into 5 spaces:
Holocyle. A Holotheca’s laboratory of scientific production. It promotes actions that democratize erudition, by making available for consultation the assets of 3 important collections: encyclotheca, lexicotheca and the hemerotheca.
Library. the library concentrates works from several fields of knowledge and presents, uniquely, the expressive quantity of titles related to the history of parapsyschism and parapsychic phenomena. Here there are many books and journals that were used in doctor vieira’s research. In the author’s monumental work, the classics of conscientiology, deserve to be highlighted. They exceed 30 thousand pages across 28 volumes.
Consultation lounge. a space dedicated to library users. Books are requested in the service area and consulted at the five research stations, which, beyond dictionaries, make the main treatises on conscientiology available for immediate consultation.
Exposition hall. a place to visit the exhibition named expoconscientiology, which portrays in display cases the trajectory of conscientiology in the city of Foz do Iguaçu. The cases also present a synthesis of Waldo Vieira’s trajectory, the development of campus CEAEC and Cognopolis, evidencing characteristics of a border city. In the display cases, works by the proposer of conscientiology and historic institutional documents are exposed, plus objects from the holotheca’s collections illustrating the themes: nature, humanities, territory, pacification, cognition and paraperceptions.
Museological technical reserve. from the one hundred and twenty-one thousand items from the holotheca’s museological collection, only two hundred and three are in the permanent expoconscientiology exposition. The other objects are divided into three rooms which compose the technical reserve and this is called on when temporary expositions are established.
To cater to the needs stemming from the increase of collections, projects and public use, the holotheca cultural megacenter, will be built. This building was designed by the renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and will house the holotheca, which will have its headquarters there and be the base of the holotheca cultural megacenter, transforming Cognopolis into a kind of open-air museum.
CEAEC has 17 consciential self-research laboratories. In the manner of reflection chambers, conscientiological laboratories gather conditions for the experimenter to investigate himself.
Conscientiological laboratory research is based on the consciential paradigm, in which the researcher is an instrument and object of research.
For this reason, laboratory experiments are carried out individually, without the presence of another researcher or professor; with the exception of the coupling and conscientiography laboratories. Laboratory research puts the researcher in connection with himself.
While conventional laboratories work, in general, with equipment, machines and instruments to measure from physiological to physical conditions, in consciential self-research laboratories the logic is reversed. For the research task, the experimenter uses books, spreadsheets for recording and has parapsychic sensitivity, from which he has the possibility of capturing ideas about himself and identifying facets to be improved.
Because they are environments optimized for self-experimentation, laboratories predispose the researcher to come into contact with the so-called extraphysical supporting consciousnesses, whose role is to assist in the deepening of self-research.
The result of the experiment is evaluated by the researcher himself and serves as a source of information to supply the personal database of the self-research. To obtain good results, it is recommended to repeat the experiments.
Each laboratory has its own theme, allowing the researcher to reflect on certain personal aspects, in addition to identifying, overcoming or improving traits of their own personality. Among numerous other attributes to be researched and worked on in the laboratories are behavior through self-organization, the couple relationship, intellectual capacity, emotional mastery and the application of parapsychic techniques.
You have arrived at the central landmark of CEAEC, a place of important symbolism for several reasons and which today houses the Praça da Paz.
To begin with, it was here that, in nineteen ninety-five, the construction of the campus complex began, a set of all the environments and buildings that you are visiting today.
This was also the point chosen for the laying of the cornerstone of the Cognópolis neighborhood, represented by the monument to world peace.
This monument, which is in front of it, is composed of a megalith, a fragment of granite rock measuring seven meters high with a base of one meter and forty by eighty centimeters. This rock originates from the municipality of Ataléia, in Minas Gerais.
Requested by Professor Waldo at the beginning of the construction of the CEAEC, the implantation of the megalith took place on July 17, 2003, and is the expression of the concrete and objective strength of conscientiological volunteering in the efforts to pacify the planet.
The consciential paradigm brings peace in the condition of support and culture. This culture of peace is the set of values, attitudes, ways of thinking, feeling and acting based on the preservation of life, on the pacifying posture of re-education for dialogue, on respect for freedom of thought and expression, on the commitment to anti-conflict mediation assumed with oneself and with others. It is based on the principles of freedom, solidarity, democracy, cultural diversity and positive exchange between people, groups and societies.
Surrounded by conscientiological laboratories, the Peace Square, with the monumental shape and geoenergetic force of the megalith, attracts visitors and inspires the implantation of other pacifist icons, such as the pole installed to hoist the UN flag; the inscription of the word peace in several languages; the interparadigmatic bridge; and the presence of the compass rose associated with the cardinal points. All this symbolizes the acceleration of debates and mechanisms for the defense of human rights; cooperation pacts between people, institutions and nations; the strengthening of freedom of thought, fraternity and solidarity between individuals and social groups. Peace guiding the evolutionary steps.
